OneHope Launches God’s Truth Project to Address Needs of Youth Around the World
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 3, 2011—Following years of research compiled through the Spiritual State of the World’s Children, a global research project launched in 2006 by OneHope, the ministry has had the opportunity to hear directly from young people about the harsh cultural realities they face every day. Their responses served as the inspiration for the God’s Truth Project.
“What we learned is that no matter what the systemic issue – poverty, illiteracy, suicide, child soldiering, sex trafficking, or addiction – at the core is an issue of truth,” said Rob Hoskins, president of OneHope. “Our goal with God’s Truth Project is to create a platform to explore how the truths found in God’s word impact social issues – and can change the lives of not only young people but entire communities.”
OneHope is using God’s Truth Project to equip local churches in Africa, Japan and North American with the materials needed to share the message of hope found in God with children and youth. For more information, visit GodsTruthProject.com.
