In Haiti when Elienne was quite young, her parents sold her to an “uncle,” and she became a sexual slave.
Elienne was alone, unloved, afraid. Then, a OneHope ministry team came from the local church to her school.
They performed a drama that demonstrated how God loves and values us, no matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done.

Elienne eagerly received her Book of Hope and grasped God’s words of love and forgiveness, the opportunity to begin a new life.
Today, she has made a decision to follow Jesus, and she knows for sure that Someone loves her — and He always will.
